Seattle Reign FC and Seattle Sounders FC, in partnership with the RAVE Foundation and Friends of Waterfront Park, have announced a new festival set atop a floating stage. The event, dubbed Seattle Soccer Celebration, will feature a custom-made soccer pitch built atop a maritime vessel. Hugh Weber, President of Business Operations for Seattle’s pro-level soccer clubs, called the event a defining moment for the city. The festival will serve as a celebration of soccer in Seattle, with the floating pitch designed to symbolize the 52nd field from the RAVE Foundation's initiative to construct 52 free mini-pitches across Washington. Ashley Fosberg, Chief Impact and Fan Engagement Officer for the Sounders and Reign clubs, emphasized the importance of the event for the community. The 2026 Seattle Soccer Celebration promises to be an exciting experience for fans, with a unique blend of soccer and entertainment. The event will take place on Elliott Bay, offering stunning views of the city. With the custom-made soccer pitch and a range of activities, the festival is set to be a memorable experience for all attendees. The partnership between Seattle Reign FC and Seattle Sounders FC demonstrates the clubs' commitment to promoting soccer in the city and engaging with the local community.
